Certified Scrum Practitioner

I submitted my application form to become a CSP a while back and received an email from the Scrum Alliance informing me I had passed and was now a CSP.
So what is a CSP? In a nutshell it means you are a CSM with real world experience. Im going to be Agile here and not re-invent the wheel, Peter Stevens has already written a very good post about becoming a CSP over on his blog here. He claims that there are over 25,000 CSM's worldwide and only 800 CSP's, interesting statistics.
There has been alot of debate in the groups regarding certifications and that maybe the CSM's qualification doesn't actually mean too much. I'd agree. I like to draw the analogy of learning to drive: Getting your CSM certification is like passing your driving test, we all know that the real learning to drive takes place in the next couple of years of real driving. Well for me Scrum and the CSM is the same.
I like to think of the CSP certification as a real test to see if you paid attention in those years and learnt from real world experience. Obviously I must have lol.
